The mission of the Housing Authority for LaSalle County is to strengthen the community by creating opportunities for diverse housing options and providing the opportunity for self-sufficiency by promoting adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a suitable living environment.

The HALC procures a wide variety of materials, supplies, equipment, construction and consultant services. Procurement opportunities are divided into three categories: Construction goods and services, professional services, and non-construction goods. All procurement procedures are conducted in full compliance with the Federal standards stated in the HALC procurement policy.

Spring is Here!
With the arrival of spring, so comes the sound of lawn mowers!
The lawn care companies have started mowing yards and community areas.
We would like to remind all our residents that bikes, toys, and outdoor furniture
must be kept on patios, not in yards or community areas.
The HALC Public Housing Wait List is Currently OPEN
You may apply by filling out an application at any one of the AMP offices
located in Ottawa, LaSalle & Streator or at our Central Office located at
526 E. Norris Dr., Ottawa, IL.
Annual Plan for Year 2012 — Update
The Housing Authority for LaSalle County has submitted its 2012 annual
plan to HUD and is awaiting approval.
